Ajuga's are very useful in containers, baskets, or borders, they mix well with other alpines. With their strikingly different coloured foliage they can help other plants to really show up well.
Ajuga - Chocolate chip is a really neat plant that deserves a place in most alpine gardens, or borders. It has very neat and compact leaves which form a matt of chocolate coloured foliage, which contrast with the foliage ofother plants really well. Blue flower spikes emerge in spring, making it a plant for all seasons.
