SAXIFRAGA.
SAXIFRAGA - Description & Cuneifolia Variegata.
Saxifraga. There are many types of Saxifraga, some are mossy, others can be in rosettes. Most of them are fairly easy to grow. They are mainly lime-lovers but will tolerate neutral conditions, they relish open sunny positions in sharply drained soil. Very suitable for alpine beds, sinks, troughs, screes etc.
Saxifraga, 'Cuneifolia Variegata', - Succulent foliage of green and gold, creeps and is useful for weed supression. The flowers are white and are on tall slender stems which nod in the breeze.
Flowering spring - Summer. 10 cms. x 45 cms.

SAXIFRAGA - Winifred Brevington
Neat and mound forming pretty rossettes of mid-green foliage with a picotee edge and pretty pink flowers. Very easy to grow and will look good in scree gardens, rockeries, the front of borders, troughs etc. It can be mixed with other Saxifraga, Campanulas or Sempervivums etc.
