The Sempervivium family is vast. We grow a few varieties that we consider interesting and colourful. It is the foliage and the formation of rosettes that are found most attractive. Easy to grow though they prefer a well drained site. They love sun and although they will grow in poor soil, they respond more favourably to a richer soil. They are perfect for sinks and troughs, alpine gardens and screes.
