21st February 2012
Oh my goodness where has February gone!
We are really busy now trying to get all the plants looking good.
We are tring to update the website too That is taking all my spare time at the moment.
The catalogue is at the printers and should be back I hope for the start of March.
We are working through the Heucheras on the nursery cutting back top dressing sweeping beds etc.
Along side that Richard has got a job!!! Well not really but he is helping my brother Fred Yates, as he has fallen on the ice and broken his elbow!! Ouch!!! He is in plaster up to his neck! (picture coming soon I hope)
My brother has his own nursery in Somerford he is a Begonia Specialist and well known plant breeder.
He has so many seedlings at the moment on his nursery so we have offered to help him. (well Richard really)
His nursery is all glass and it is completely full up until July time.
So on the nursery for 5 hours a day its just me :( until Fred comes out of plaster. Hope you get better soon Fred :)
Image is my brother holding me (he can't do that now ! and not because of his broken elbow lol)
This picture was taken some years ago we have bother matured a bit now :))
6th February 2012
Dont forget the birds today as it is very cold and all their natural food will be frozen, as will the water so just spare a minute and pop them some water on the bird table and maybe some bread crumbs etc.

29th January 2012
We are still very busy adding a larger picture to each of the Heucheras, Heritage Heucheras, & the Heucherellas so far. Plus lots of new varieties you can buy to the website.
The website is still looking untidy but soon it will look more streamlined when all the products have been updated and it has had a tidy up!
We are giving each of our products their own page with more information and a bit bigger picture. Any larger picture will slow the site down sadly :(

Happy New year to all who read this.
May the new year bring you all good health, wealth, and most of all happiness.
It wont be long before we are all out in the gardens and the sun is shinning.
With this mild weather I dont know about you, but we have been out there a bit keeping on top of jobs which will make the spring a bit easier.
Now is a great time to plan the garden and decide whats to go and whats to stay.
Maybe get rid of a bit more lawn and have have an extra bed.
Heucheras are easy to care for so a good plant for in most people gardens.
Dont forget those heuchera, heucherella tiarella hanging baskets too, so easy to care for why bother with anything else!
In the next couple of days we will be putting up our
2012 Nursery Workshops
so keep an eye open and book early as they usually go quickly.
lots of fun had by all I bake some yummy cakes for you all too.

We hope you all have a lovely time and that Santa brings you all you want
1st December 2011
Today I have been upgrading the software for the website.
They tell me it will make a big difference, so we will see as I start to upgrade the site over the coming months.
Richard has been very busy making holly wreaths for the weekend.
The Heucheras on the nursery and in the garden are still looking lovely and are a real splash of colour.
I am still picking the leaves for flower arrangements but most of them have finished flowering now.
Most of the leaves on our trees have gone now. I suspect winter may start soon, it was a little chilly this afternoon and a bit of a nip this evening, too.
I think it is supposed to get warmer tomorrow but wetter too!
Image of Heucherella 'Gunsmoke' PBR looking really lovely at this time of year.
19th November 2011
We have been working very hard in the garden this weekend trying to get the last of the bulbs in before the weather turns.
We also planted a 'Liquid Amber' tree which looks great even now, it will be fabulous when it grows.
Still have the patio to tidy though and one or two empty conatainers, I need to do them next.
Dont forget if you want you garden to be included in our customers gallery send me on an email if possible (best results this way)
If you cant email them then thats ok send a paper copy and we will copy it and pop it in the section this winter.

18th November 2011
Well a great day today
We have been working very hard to attain 'National Collection' status from the 'Plant Heritage'
today we got the exciting news that we had been waiting for.
We now hold 'The National Collection of Tiarella'
It is a very under rated genus and we hope to get you all interested in them.
They don't have all the bright colours as heucheras do but the have the prettest flower and the most stunning foliage that great for shade.
This means that we now hold the National Collections of Heuchera, Heucherella, and Tiarella.
Take a look at our usual range, also take a look at our Tiarella list.
Most of the varieties from the list will also be available throughout the year, but you may need to ask as we cannot carry every variety in huge quantity so we dont take to shows or add to the wesite or catalogue.
We would need a bigger nursery to do that and this one is more than enough for Rick & I.

Wear your poppy with pride
16th October 2011
Second day of the open weekend.
Excited but shattered before it began, after making lots of cakes last night for today, hope you all turn up and eat them. (note for next spring make more cake!)
Well you didnt disappoint us. You came once again, from far and wide thank you so much.
Lots of new faces and lovely to see returning customers who come each year.
Lovely to see Sue Beesley from 'Blue Bell Cottage Garden', Martin & Janet Blow from 'Specialist Perennials' and 'Plant Hunter Fairs', Ruth & James from the 'Heuchera Society' (see 'links' to go to this site)
It was great to see that many of you have become 'Hooked on Heucheras'! What a great plant to get hooked on.
Something for nearly every position, evergreen, hardy to at least -20C/ -25C will grow in almost any situation - containers, baskets, perennial borders, raised beds, woodland, slopes, even virtical gardens they look great where ever you plant them. (They dont like to be water logged though. They will die if left in waterlogged soil for even a short time!)
Many of you are really hooked on heucheras, heucherellas & tiarellas which is great to know as we have so many for you to look at & buy.
We do have the largest selction in Europe for sale (as far as we know) we are only a small nursery but many of you are thrilled to see so many different varieties in one place. We do sell approximately 280 variety of heuchera, approx. 20 variety of heucherella, and approx 50 variety of tiarella, not always at the same time though alas and some we only have 2 or 3 of all year (these are the very rare ones) there are other perennials to buy also.
So if you missed this years open weekends we do have 4 days next year.
Saturday 31st March & 1st April 2012 10am - 4pm each day.
Saturday 13th October & 14th october 2012 10am - 4pm each day
You didnt let me down on the cakes this year nearly all the cakes went so I wont be getting fatter from eating those.
(I will have to bake more next year just in case :)
If you wondered what you could have had, there was - Victoria sponges (yes with home made jam & fresh cream, I know WI says it shouldnt have cream!) Chocolate cakes, Malteeser chocolate cakes (with fresh cream), Jewelled fruit loaves with ginger (yum) ,Battenburg, Almond and cherry cake, Lemon drizzle cake, & Upside down pear cake. (you can tell I love baking) Fresh ground coffee, & of course Tea.
(For those of you who wonder what this means :) that is a smiley face and as you all know I love to smile so I love using the little sign)

15th October 2011
First day of the open weekend
Well its 9.30am everything as ready as its going to be. We are sitting down having a tester coffee and a piece of cake :) Jon our friend is in to help with the parking otherwise its just Rick and I as usual.
Jon had the fruit cake thumbs up, Rick had the victoria sponge, proclaimed 'really good'(can I have another peice? - answer NO!) I tried predictably the chocolate cake - which is awful and I dont recommend you have!! I will have to eat it all! (someone has to)
Just finished and first car has arrived!
Well it the end of the day and lots of lovely people came and didnt you do well :) you were very well behaved orderly queue and friendly banter.
A big thank you to all who came from far & wide. Some of you travelled a long way so we feel very flattered that you came so far. We hope you all enjoyed it.
We just about managed to park you all, as you very kindly space yourselves really well, thoughout the day.
There were a few moments we thought we wouldnt get you all in but Jon did a great job.
None of you took any notice of my advise about the chocolate cakes as both have gone and I am baking again tonight!.
In fact nearly all the cake has gone so a rather busy night tonight. I love baking so no problem there.
Best seller of the day ? Well I would have to say Heucherella 'Redstone Falls & 'Yellowstone Falls' the new trailing varieties. You all loved the hanging baskets and I think we will see lots of lovely evergreen baskets up and down the country.
Thank you once again to everyone who came today you were all so lovely and we hope you come again next year.
Many of you went into the garden and we had lots of lovely comments. Many of you enjoyed your coffee and cake in the garden too. We have lots of places to sit and take a minute or two.
We were lucky today with the weather and the sun shone all day, it was a lovely warm Autumn day.
I wonder what tomorrow will bring?
14th October 2011
The day before the open day and we are putting the finishing touches to the nursery.
The cakes are made and ready to be decorated tonight ready for tomorrow. (hope we sell some otherwise Richard and I are going to get even fatter!)
I am busy printing signs so that you can find us ok.
Everywhere is starting to come together.
Alas we still haven't had time to plant up the new heuchera bed by the door to the office neither have we had time to do the 'grassy knoll'. Otherwise known as the 'weedy knoll' and now the 'dirty knoll'! (dont worry that is just down to how much bare soil there is and a distinct lack of grass, grass seed, or even turf!)
The 'dirty knoll' was one of our targets to do this year and it still hasnt got done - well I surppose its an improvement from the 'weedy knoll'! Well theres always next year :)
The coffee room where you can look at the medals has been filled with the medals (well maybe not quite filled!) but there are getting quite a few now, and lots of bits and bobs to look at.
Richard has cleared the carpark of caravan, vans, and our cars so there is lots of places to park, but just in case we do have the field also to spill into if needed.
Anyway better go and fill my spomge with fresh cream, and add the malteesers to the chocolate cakes.
Hope to see you tomorrow :)
Image of Floyd our cat.
Dont worry if you dont like cats you probably wont get to see Floyd. He is shy of visitors and hides all the time. If you do see him and want to stroke him he is friendly but very shy, dont think its you he doesnt like he just is a scardy cat.
3rd October 2011
Where has the year gone?
All the shows are finished now.
The open day is nearly upon us 15th & 16th October 10am - 4pm each day.
Everyone is welcome. (see shows and 'meet us at the shows' for further info)
We have so much to do on the nursery before then (of course we will never do it all!)
This week has been so hot, it has been difficult to keep going all afternoon in the full sun, but unlike the summer you run out of daylight hours at night now. It has been a real bonus though the lovely sunshine.
We are still shipping plants via the mail order too, so if you cant get to the nursery you can still have plants sent out a.s.a.p. orders are being shipped the week after ordering now or even quicker.
We have some beautiful Heuchera, Heucherella, & Tiarellas for sale at the moment, just all ready for planting in the garden now.
All our plants are grown cold so you dont need to worry about them being lush and soft.
Lots of the new varieties are still available for sale heuchera 'Root beer' is looking fabulous at the moment.
We still have the New trailing Heucherellas and Tiarellas that are great for hanging baskets and containers. They give you all year round colour.
Our own small private garden is open for you to look around on the open days.
Our garden this year has been so dry it has been difficult to keep the plants looking good, but I think considering that it still looks nice.
Please dont be too critical it isnt a show garden, and it hardly has any attention during the year. So it is how plants look with alot of neglect and nearly no watering! They are tough heucheras and they have to be to grow in our garden!
Image of Heucherella 'Solar Power' which are available to buy. They love the shade and have a cascading habit, making them great for baskets or containers.
24th Septmeber 2011

We are on the road again this week.
We are up in Harrogate at the lovely Autumn harrogate flower show.
What a wonderful array of autumn colour we have here.
It is looking fabulous.
We got another Gold medal for our display which we are thrilled with.
Thank you to our saturdays customers for all your lovely complements and most of all for buying our plants.
We have a real loyal customer base here at this show and of course everyone knows how friendly yorkshire people can be.
One more day of the show so if you are around Harrogate and you fancy a good day out meeting loads of specilaists then you know where to come. Just one more day left.
We thought the weather was going to be dreadful but the sun keeps shining between a few short showers.
This is a picture of our spring display from Harrogate. It is using our collection of Tiarellas. We have over 80 varieties at the moment and have applied for the Naional collection.
7th September 2011
We set of last night to come to Wisley flowers show and arrived at 10pm.
Breakfast nice and early straight in to unload and set up our display.
We used mums rocking chair in this display it is all outside so its always unusual staging.
Hope you will be coming to see us as we think Wisley is looking lovely this year.
It is always a colourful show as many of the plants in displays and in the garden have started to change colour for Autumn.
Heucheras are great for Autumn colour as they intensify those oranges and reds that make Autumn so special.
Autumn and Spring are my two favourite months.
We have for sale lots of new heucheras again here We have Heucheras 'Root Beer', 'Cherry cola', Berry marmaldae'. 'Berry Crisp', & 'Ginger Peach'. Lots of lovely Tiarellas too many in full flower.

We are back now and work is everywhere we look but we can't start the Autumn tidy up yet, we still have lots of shows to do.
We are at Wisley gardens this week. they have extended the show by a day so it is now a 4 days show.
I love Wisley such an inspiring place for anyone who loves plants.
I cant wait to get a walk around the gardens.
We have lots of new plants'Yellowstone' and 'redstone falls' They will make your Autumn baskets look fantastic.
You all seem to be getting in the gardens now that the children have gone back to school lots of people are having a go with our hanging basket ideas.
You can create ones for shade or sun. they look amazing.
So easy to look after too.
If you haven't tried one before why not give it a go.
This is one of our hanging baskets that I do demonstrations at the nursery and at shows etc.
Image of a hanging basket that we made contains Tiarella 'Appaliachian Trail, Heuchera 'Lime Marmalade', 'Dark Secret', 'Midnight Bayou', and 'Lime Rickey'

29th August 2011
Today I have been busy doing our flier for our open days at the nursery 15 & 16th October 2011 10am - 4pm
Lots to see still.
The National Collection will be open for you to look around. This year I doubt we will have got all the way through it before the open day, as September is full of shows. We will try to get all the dead heads off though before then.
We usually like to get all the collection in pots back into their proper places
They all get mixed up during the season as we use some to show. Usually when we get back from the show the others have grown into their places so they have to move home for a little while!!
Luckily they all have names and numbers so they are easy to sort once I make the space.
This year some have grown so large, and we have collected even more! We will have to change it all around for 2012
Image - Open day in Spring last year, when people are looking around the garden
28th August 2011
Floyd is our cat. Though you will probably never see him, he is always on patrol but is a little shy of visitors
He misses nothing though, always keeping close by.
We called him Floyd after hurricane Floyd becuase he was so mad as a kitten like a whirlwind flying everywhere.
He loves my Dad, who along with Jo & Jon keep the nursery ticking over while we are at shows etc.
Image of Floyd he isnt for sale sorry!!
24th August 2011
We have a long day today as we take Tom (our son) back to USA for UNI Tom has been playing basketball all his life really and always wanted to be a player hence USA.
Some of you will have seen him helping us this summer at the shows.
He has been such a great help to us and if he hadn't have been helping us (for free! well nearly, we are helping with uni!!) I dont think we would have had too many plants to sell as Tom did most of the potting. We have all been so taken up with the mail order and the doing and getting ready for the shows.
Tom saw that we needed some help and just stepped right up.
We will miss him so much. He hopes to be home next summer in the holidays.
Good Luck and thanks Tom x

I can't believe how quickly this year is going!
We have finished Hyde Hall festival of plants. We would like to say a big thanks to everyone who came and said hello and bought plants.
You all made us very welcome as you did last year.
We were really lucky and the weather was lovely.
I went around the gardens at Hyde hall they looked lovely still lots of lovely plants to see there. I would imagine Autumn will be lovely too with lots of trees seed heads rose hips and grasses.
We are busy trying to catch up on the nursery this week. Weeding repottong and trying to dead head the National coleectio of Heuchera, Heucherella and our private collection of Tiarella. It is too much for one week!!!
Where to start first??
We have been very busy shipping your orders out as quickly as we can as well.
Thank you for all your comments on how lovely our plants are, and how well they are packaged it good to know we are getting it right.
Image of New Heuchera 'Ginger Peach' PBR available now
- go to heuchera section to buy
12th August 2011
Yesterday we leaft very early at 5am to go to RHS Hyde Hall festival of Flowers.
We we lucky and traffic wasnt too bad.
It rained alot when we were packing up but never mind at least we left on time.
In between showers we did our display which we thinks looks really pretty and something that anyone can do if they had a small garden
RHS Hyde Hall is a very different garden to Wisley but we love it just as much.
They are making a new lake here lots of diggers moving loads of earth. I cant wait to come back next year and see how it has come on.
We have lots of new heucheras here like 'Cherry Cola' and the new Trailing Heucherellas 'Redstone Falls' and 'Yellowstone Falls', these have been selling very well.
This show has a lovely relaxed feel to it we love it.
Come along and say hello. Dont miss it its lovely.

1st August 2011
Richard has been working very hard putting up a new shade hall to protect our heucheras from the strong midday sun.
This will mean more can go outside without getting burnt.
Tom has been helping us too
It was all hands on deck with a friend helping us as well.
We were thrilled with the cover it gave.
We have quite a bit to do to finish it but when it is finished we think it will be great.
There is so much work to do on the nursery but we are very busy shipping the mail order out every Monday Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, other jobs happen on the other 3 three days that are left! We need longer weeks Ha ha never going to happen is it!
Anyway better get on just wanted to keep you all up to date.

26th July 2011
Oh my goodness! sorry for the lack of entries, at such an exciting time too!
Its been so busy here that I have had to leave it until now (I shouldnt really be here now we have so much to do)
Everything on the nursery seems to need doing at once.
We have been using the strimmer alot to keep the bounderies clear, so that the weeds stay out off the nursery.(difficult when you have farmers fields all round.
We went to Tatton Park which was lovely in the end. It rained so much during bulid up we though the ground would have been ruined. The RHS did a marvellous job looking after the ground so that when the visitors came they didnt need their wellies.
We have to say that the show looked amazing this year and the standard everywhere was very high.
We were extremely pleased to recieve another Gold medal. We were very pleased with the display it had so much good colour and our plants are very mature so they keep that colour well too throughout the show.
Richard and I loved the new layout at tatton too. If you didnt come, make sure you do next year you dont know what you missed.
We have been potting lots of new varieties for you. Wow they are looking stunning.
Keep looking in the next few days I will update some pictures of the nursery and some of the fabulous new plants the are now ready to ship.
I had better go I am cleaning out the propagation house today.
Image in the photo is the NEW 1st ever Trailing heucherellas available from us NOW
20th June 2011
Planned on a lie in until 8am but that wasnt to be a delivery got us up at 7am!! More pots ready for even more potting.
Never mind a chance to catch up on an extra hours work. Lots to do today!
All the lorry is unloaded and cleaned out ready to take back to the hire company later.
All the show plants are unloaded trimmed back and dead headed etc and put back on the nursery after a bit of praise and a round of applause for winning another
Gold medal
, from us and all their friends that were left back on the nursery.
All the nursery is surveyed and we decide it official, we are not in control any more!!! Too much work to do and not enough hours to do it in!
All the shows come really close together now until after Hampton there will be no chance of catching up.
It is something we just have to accept!
Tom our son is helping us loads, by potting all the young plants that are ready to pot as fast as he can (for free he said! )Thanks Tom your doing a great job just keep them coming!
We have two other friends on the nursery helping us pack all the orders from The Chelsea Flower Show, the internet and the catalogue. Hang on in there if your one of those orders we are pack. pack packing as fast as we possibly can. Next week will clear all the Chelsea orders, so not long if you are waiting.
Its all hands on deck until after Hampton, still lots of shows then but it does start to quieten down. Of course we dont want it to, so keep the orders coming in please.
Image of Tiarella 'Starburst' which was also popular at Gardeners world look at the pretty star like flowers. Great fro a shady place.
19th June 2011
Last day of Gardeners World! Dont know where the time goes, it is flying by.
Long day today, after a long week. The concrete floors at the NEC take it out of your legs but we are still smiling.
We had to get up at 5am and pack up all of the caravan ready to take home (and clean it as it is on the road again next wednesday!)
Richard went off at 6.45 to get in the queue for the vans for break down this evening. All vans and lorries have to move from where they were parked and get into a queue for coming onto show ground when the show closes this evening.
Breakdown is a bit stressful as all the show people want to be home as quickly as possible, but all the vans and lorries cant go in at the same time as it would get grid locked! You sometimes just have to be patient.
After moving the lorry he comes back to me at the caravan and hooks up and takes me to show then takes the caravan home(this only happens at NEC as campsite doesnt let us all stay after 12noon.
We had run out of plants on the sales table, so I topped it up ready for all the lovely people who came and bought from us on Sunday.
At the end of the day 4.30pm the sell off begins. Then dusty job of dismantling the display starts, its always a bit harder than you thought it would be at the start of the day! (probabaly because you are shattered after the 5 days of the show)
By 7.30pm we were loaded and on our way home.
9.30 pm - It is so good to get back home and the best bit getting into your own bed!
Tea on the table by 10pm thanks M&S.
11pm bed arhhhh thats good.
Image Heuchera 'Lipstick'PBR one of our stars of the show
15th June 2011
Going in to the Floral Hall on medals day is always a bit stressful.
You work so hard and when you have grown every leave on your display you really want to win a Gold medal.
Medals day at any show is very important to everyone, even if they say they dont care, we all do.
So we were thrilled to see a lovely Gold medal on our display.
It doesnt matter how tired you are when you see that you just feel thrilled and all the tired disappears for a good while anyway.
Anyway must fly as we have lots of customers coming into the hall now eager to buy plants (I hope )
Image of Heuchera 'Southern Comfort' we have this on our display and I think it will a best seller this show.
14th June 2011
Just finished dispaly at Gardeners world, we think it looks great. Now we have to wait to see what the judges think this afternoon.
We worked very late yesterday until 10.10pm to get finished in good time today.
We had some other plants for the display in The Plant Heritage in hall 18.
If you dont know what the 'Plant heritage' is then go and take a look.
You could be part of it yourself if you collect one genus of plants and apply to the 'Plant heritage' for a National Collection'
It is a really good cause as many plants that you remember as a child would have disapeared if it wasnt for the 'Plant Heritage'
The show is on until Sunday so if you havent already been come and have a really good day out and say hello if you do.
Image of Heuchera Gypsy Dancers foliage this is one we have in the display at gardeners world live.
10th June 2011
Oh my goodness is it really Gardeners World flower show next week! Where did half the year go!
Well this week has been a whirl. We have been busy sending all your orders out as fast as we can.
The new plants are growing well and some of the new varieties are very exciting can wait ti show them to you.
Richard still hasnt had time to renew his tunnel and put up his new shade hall I will show pictures when he does.
There are so many things to do on the nursery now.
Today though we have to stop and get things ready for the show.
Richard will be getting up the sales plants and I will be with our babies and picking and preening the show plants.
Hoping we can get another RHS gold. It is a tough job though.
I hope the weather holds for getting everything up but I think the forcast is rain today, We will just have to get wet!!!
Image of Trollius 'Cheddar' looking beautiful at the moment. Loves a moist place in light shade.
5th June 2011
On our way back from Gardening Scotland we had a fabulous show and as always the Scottish people we lovely and love their heucheras. They love them because they are so hardy and dont mind the Scottish weather at all (its not always cold and wet thought one day when we were at the show it was beautiful)
As much as we loved the show we couldnt wait to get home and see all our collection, nursery and our garden.
We were in the 71/2 ton lorry so we can only travel at 56 miles an hour, so even though we managed a very speedy breakdown we still didnt get back until 11.30pm.
Arhh its good to be in our own bed though.
Heuchera 'Ginger Ale' in the picture
another Terra Nova Nurseries introduction from a few years ago. It still looks fabulous and we had it in our display at Gardening Scotland needless to say it sold out. Dont worry we have more available on the nursery for you to order.
2nd June 2011
First day of the Gardening Scotland Show very busy lots of people young and old all enjoying the dislays.
We thought we would have a got a gold medal as the display looked fabulous but the judges diodnt think so by 1 point!!! well I surpose we were close.
A litlle deflated after getting a 12 out of 12, Gold medal at Chelsea. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and the judge who came back was very nice he say they all loved it but they would have loved to have seen more flowers on the right hand side of the display. Everyone has a different opinion about flowers on Heucheras.
Never mind the public voted it a gold so that was the most important thing really.
Well if like the judges you want lots of flowers then the
Heuchera in the picture is Heuchera 'Lipstick'
this gives flowers all summer long.
31st May 2011
All unpacked now from Chelsea and we start again.
Off to 'Gardening Scotland Show' in Ingleston near Edinburgh, open on 3rd June for 3 days.
We are so tired from Chesleas 12 hour days, but the show must go on.
We are getting all out show plants ready for the display, and of course all the plants for selling.
If you are in and around that area please come and say hello we love to see you all.
Anyway better go as its 7am and we have lots to do today.
Picture of plants ready to go to scotland, well thats how they will look later. ( I hope)
29th May 2011
Long day today as breaking down at Chelsea and on our way back to the nursery in Englesea Brook.
Looking forward to our own bed!
Cant wait to see how all the nursery is looking, although I have a feeling it will be work, work, work everywhere.
We can begin the packing up at 4pm when the bell goes for the 'Great Chelsea Sell Off' an amazing sight.
The count down begins and your all invited to join in, the excitment builds..... then the bell rings and the whole of the great pavillion goes mad for about an hour. All the plants seem to get legs and walk.
Massive fushias, delphiniums (7feet tall), arms of flowers, and huge trees sway as they are taken to their new home.
When I am standing on my staging where the display once was it is such a sight. Wow! Just more of the magic that IS Chelsea.
Its a great day if you are thinking of coming get your tickets ordered early.

(sorry not enough time to uplaod recent photos.)

- Lots to be done on the nursery this week
Sadly this isnt what the plants look like now!
We are hoping that they will look like this soon.
We have been busy cleaning all the dead leaves off the pots and skimming and top dressing them.
Its all hands on deck as the show season is just around the corner!
1st March 2011
- Seedlings
All the seedlings are growing.
We wish the sun would shine more and the temperature rise a bit quicker.
Keeping our fingers crossed for better weather next week.
Then they can grow into lots of baby plants.
Then we can see them grow and begin the first selection process.
Most heuchera do not come true from seed, but our seed is all hybridized by us so we are always hoping for something very exciting. Maybe a new variety thats a best seller.
All good fun.
