  1. What do I do with my established heucheras at this time of the year they look straggly and grotty. Do I cut all the discoloured and damaged leaves away. Or do I either grow through the tatiness? Many thanks for you hep. Sylvia Stanbra

    • Hi Sylvia
Tidy back old leaves in spring or when needed
Cover stalks with soil if they are getting leggy or lift and bury the stalk by planting deeper (only needed if stalk is over two inches long) NEVER cut the stalks
Taking care to NEVER bury the crown (the bit with leaves growing out of it)
Give them a feed once a month with a seaweed feed… We use Seasol which we also sell on the website
      Dead head after flowing too
      Happy gardening 🙂
