Flowers are handsome whorls of hooded pinkie-purple tones stacked in gapped layers held over heart shaped green-bronze foliage.
They look beautiful in flower but just as beautiful in winter if the attractive seed heads are left on.
They can be used as a cut flower in flowers or the seed heads in winter.
Great in borders with other perennials, giving height to the middle and back of the border.
Easy to grow.
Loved by bees.
