Heucheras are Great for Winter Colour

berry-smoothie(Heuchera Berry Smoothie)

Heucheras are great for some winter colour for your flower beds and borders. Just look how gorgeous these frosty beauties look around our nursery after our first frost last week! As they are hardy perennials, they can normally withstand the colder temperatures and some varieties even retain their brightly coloured foliage.

Garden Tags – The Great New Gardening App

We want to tell everyone about a great new app we’ve been using called Garden Tags!

gardentags

Garden Tags is a place for gardeners to come together, from complete novice to experts. You can keep track of your garden progress in one place, showcase plant varietals by tagging them, and get planting information and inspiration from fellow gardeners. You can also take photos of plants in your garden or other places.

The photo above shows our profile, and as you can see there is a feed that showcases new photos, a garden tab with photos from our garden, a plants tab to keep track of our different plants, and a wish list tab. You can add plants you see around the app to your wish list by tapping the star icon below the photo.

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, you can find more information on the Garden Tag’s website or download the app for free in the App Store or on Google Play.

If you download the app, make sure to follow us, just go into the discover tab and search for Plantagogo under users!
