Visit Us For Our September Open Days This Weekend

If you’ve somehow missed it, our open days are this coming weekend the 21st-23rd 10am-4pm all days.

We are raising money for Macmillan cancer with their biggest coffee morning, so proceeds from all three days will be going to Macmillan.

We have lots of lovely orange colours and limes at the moment for your gardens. Oranges go in full sun or partial shade, and limes go in part shade or full shade. So there’s plants for every bit of your garden no matter the sun or shade!

We’ve also got some hanging baskets for sale that we’ve put together especially for our open weekend. They are all ready to just take away and hang outside your home.

If anyone needs larger quanties for planting schemes we do have some, just ask or speak to us about your requirements.

We look forward to seeing you here!

3 Shows Left for 2017

We only have three shows left for 2017, we can hardly believe we are already in September it’s been that busy this year! From all the shows, to potting to wedding planning, it seems we’ve been on the go forever. Wouldn’t change a thing though, and there’s been some fantastic shows this year.

Coming up we have RHS Wisley Autumn Show from the 5th-10th of September, which is in their 25th year! Raymond Blanc will be opening the show this year with other highlights including the sculpture trail, the people’s dahlia competition, and of course all the specialist nurseries and growers including us!

Next will be Harrogate Autumn Flower show, which always promises to be full of colour and really gets you into the Autumnal spirit. Join us September 15th-17th and we are looking forward to seeing what giant vegetables are in store this year for the famous annual competition.

We will be finishing the show season with the Malvern Autumn show September 23rd-24th. There will be a host of celebrities, cookery workshops and of course lots of plants!

Our last open days of the year are September 29-October 1st 10am-4pm each day. Come have a nosy around our nursery, enjoy some home made cake and take home some plants that catch your eye.

Our First Open Day of 2017

Our first open weekend was fun, even though it started off rainy the weather soon cleared so people could have a wander around and spend time picking out their plants.

We put our medals and awards we’ve won throughout the years on display for everyone to have a look at. It wouldn’t be an open day without cake! We of course had our home made cakes with tea and coffee to wash it down.

A great big thank you for all those who came to our first open weekend of the season! Our next ones will be May 6th and 7th if you’d like to come stock up on plants, have a nosey around our nursery and enjoy a slice (or two!) of cake.

Next Years 2017 Events Calendar

We are already busy planning for next years shows, open days and talks. We’ve put together a Calendar of Events for 2017 that you can refer to here. We will update this with more information such as what stall numbers or tent’s we are located in when we know more. We will also add in any other events. If you follow us on Facebook we will try to keep our events updated on there so you know what’s going on!

We hope this helps some of you plan ahead if you’d like to use our click and collect for some of the shows. If this is available for specific shows, it will show in the drop down menu for delivery options at checkout.

Hope to see some of you at the shows!

We had another great weekend for our open days, and our lovely customers didn’t let the rain get them down or keep them from enjoying cake and taking home some lovely new plants! We had a great time chatting with everyone who came and raising money for Macmillan. If you didn’t get a chance to come but would still like to donate you can do so here.
